Can people see into the garage?
Through clear glass, yes. Frosted, satin-etched or tinted glass lets light in and blurs the view, and solid panels can fill the lower rows.
Are glass garage doors insulated?
Single-pane glass insulates little. Insulated double-pane glass does better, at a higher price. If the garage is a living space, ask for insulated glass at the quote visit.
Are aluminum doors good near the bay?
Aluminum does not rust the way steel does, which helps in salt air. The hardware still wears faster near the water, so ask for coated or stainless hardware and rinse the door now and then.
Is the glass safe?
The from price uses tempered safety glass. Laminated glass costs more and holds together if it breaks.
