Worth knowing locally
San Marin genuinely is a hill neighborhood, with most of its streets sitting above the hundred-foot line at the base of Mount Burdell, while the Hamilton flats by the bay sit at about four feet. Same city, completely different ground.

Cycle wear. Novato has the highest share of three-plus-vehicle households in our area, and a door that opens for three drivers several times a day gets through a ten-thousand-cycle spring in four or five years instead of seven. If your household runs busy and the spring is original, it's living on borrowed time. High-cycle springs cost more once and last two to three times longer.
Getting to Novato
Novato is the far end of our patch. Downtown is about eleven road miles up 101, sixteen minutes when clear, and San Marin at the city's northwest corner is nearer fourteen miles and twenty-two minutes.
